Sellers: Some good news…home values increased this month as buyers continued their Spring shopping for a new home. However, we are not in a market like early 2022, and the fluctuation in interest rates is causing instability. You MUST price correctly upfront. Price reductions will be common, staging is expected, repairs will be requested, and concessions will be normal.
Buyers: Market volatility due to interest rate fluctuation continues, but Sellers are willing to negotiate right now. And you have choices! If you were waiting on a market shift to help you buy a home, it’s here…and is already swinging back in the seller’s favor. Remember that a home is long-term investment, and don’t lose sight of that based on short-term market changes.
