If you’re excited to bite into a juicy 2”x2” White Castle slider, you’ll have to wait just a bit longer. The first White Castle store in Arizona is set to open this fall at The Block at Pima Center. This will be a 22 acre mixed-use development near Loop 101 and Via de Ventura, part of the Talking Stick Entertainment District.
The restaurant will also have an area known as Alice Cooper’s corner, where in photo of the rocker will be hung. Cooper is a huge presence in Phonenix but is originally Detroit, Michigan. “Being born in Detroit, it was a staple part of your diet” according to Cooper. He said his dad would bring the sliders home when he was a kid.
White Castle started in Whicita, Kansas and has its strongest presence in the Midwest. If you’re a Midwest native or just anxious to try the slider phenom, you won’t have to wait long.
